Some building blocks of internet marketing

Some types of digital marketing work better than others, however if your serious about this subject never ever use just one method. And I haven't covered them all, you could try podcasts, webinar's, newsletters for email lists, even pop-up's on your site.

What I have written about here search engine marketing, video marketing, social media marketing, and contacting potential clients through email are the ones I use because they work for me.

But everyone is different what works for me might not work for you. However even if one doesn't, you should still have a working knowledge of it.

Now this site does have an about page, but frankly I'm not really that interesting that I could write 1000 or 1500 words about me. I live in Carson City, Nevada about 25 minutes from Reno. I love the weather even though we are 4500 feet above sea level. I started studying making money online about 10 years ago after I needed to sell my business in Alaska where I grew up. I built houses, actually I love building houses (even in Alaska) where you are walking a 5 1/2 inch board covered in ice 20 feet above the  ground carrying one side of a 75 pound roofing truss. And I would go to sleep and dream about what needed to be done the next day, and after 20+ years I didn't need to advertise my business because my former customers did it for me. Word of mouth works very well if you always keep your customers needs in mind, it's just another way of advertising and a very effective one all on it's own. So back to me building houses and word of mouth advertising which at that point had never given much thought to. But probably because of the way my mind works, every house I have ever built I built it as if I was building it for me. And that's the way you always start a project in this business. Do the keyword research, website design, digital marketing campaign, and listening to potential clients as if you were doing all this for your business. Because actually you are!!!

Video marketing

Incorporate video into your digital marketing plan for the business. A video can help you generate brand awareness, sell more event tickets, or launch a new product.

Before creating a video, set a budget
and timeline for its creation. Although video production is a bit less costly than film production, it can still be time-consuming and expensive. With the right planning and project management, video marketing can actually save you time and money.

When it comes to video content, think about creating educational videos that help your audience learn something new. Consumers love learning new things and watching educational videos about a product or service is a great way to do just that.

Educational videos can also serve as onboarding tools for existing clients. If your videos can teach, it's a surefire way to build brand loyalty. Lastly, don't forget to be entertaining. Educating and entertaining your audience with videos is one of the best ways to create a video that works.

Social media marketing
